July 2026 Billing Release: Historical Build Note
Published . Updated .
This records the billing work released in July. It is an engineering archive; the tier names and screenshots below describe that release.
What we shipped in July
Billing creates awkward operational work when checkout, account ownership and product limits disagree. The July release connected those pieces:
- Stripe checkout from the CertLocker app.
- Registration without a credit card for the July Free tier.
- Monthly and yearly intervals for the paid tiers offered then.
- Billing summaries and invoice history inside the product.
- Cancellation at the end of a billing period.
- Usage limits enforced by the application.
- Back-office controls for account ownership, tiers and Stripe configuration.
Those are historical release details. They do not establish today's commercial terms or a current self-service upgrade path.
What to look at now
The useful product question remains the same: can your team get a certificate onto the right service, verify what it serves, and review who had access? Start with the certificate deployment walkthrough, the scoped MCP setup guide, or the certificate management pricing checklist.
For a face-to-face meeting or video call, bring one workflow and we will demonstrate hosted CertLocker. We can work through your existing certificate inventory and discuss onboarding or rollout help.
